29 Weeks! A long one..

I'm two days late on posting this but here it is finally :)

This post is very important because SO MANY wonderful things have happened this week :) On Monday the 27th, we went and got our Marriage License :)

And then on Wednesday (Leap day!), with Porsha and Aaron and his wife and baby girl as witnesses, Ben's pastor Tim married us outside of his church! We had barely told anyone so it was a big surprise to most but we thought it would be a fun anniversary to have.. or not have depending on how you see it since it'll only happen every four years!

Unfortunately though, my ring didn't make it on time so Ben used a ring that belonged to his sister as a substitute.

I was also VERY swollen from the waist down... so the pictures are not the best of me and I'm hoping that it isn't early signs of preclampsia because that would not be fun at all!

Another amazing thing that happened this week was buying my first car! I've had Trixie (my 1995 Honda Accord lx) since I was fifteen and I REALLY needed a "mom car" that had AC since last summer mine had broken and the car itself was seventeen years old and probably wouldn't last  much longer. On Saturday I went to Wake Forest for an eye doctor appointment so my mom, brother and I all went car shopping too.

The first car salesman was awful. He made it seem like I'd be able to afford a new 2012 hyundai accent with upgrades and made me fall in love with the car and then came back with a price that was WAY over budget even though we'd told him our budget to begin with. And THEN he made me fall in love with a used Subaru Outback that was NICE and didn't have many miles on it that he claimed was even cheaper than the Accent so I'd be able to get it for sure and then he suddenly "had to go meet with someone" and pawned us off to a lady who was a used car saleswoman and she informed us that it was in fact MORE expensive than the Accent... She was very nice though and showed us a few other cars in my budget and it came down to a Mazda 5 and a hybrid Honda Civic. Both were white which is the one color I DIDN'T want and I was in love with either and neither was my dad (he had finally met up with us at this point) so we left that day with no car.

On Wednesday, Ben and I went back to Wake Forest and went to look at some more used cars at the place my dad used to work at. He has friends there so they were willing to give me a car at cost. It was down to two cars again... one was a volvo sedan (don't remember what model) that was very nice with leather seats, huge trunk, a million little gadgets but it had that ugly wood trim inside and just looked like an old man car. I couldn't get over the wood. It was just UGLY and my whole family and Ben were trying so hard to talk me into that car. But I just couldn't picture myself driving it. It wasnt... me.

So I decided on the Hyundai Elantra Touring that I was in love with. It's black, has plenty of room for a stoller in the back and for once I can transport things and not need a truck. It is so beautiful and has a sunroof and heated CLOTH seats. It's black on the inside too and I keep finding a million compartment spaces to store things in and it has plenty of CUPHOLDERS which Trixie lacked and I know it's silly but that was important to me! :)

Here is my beautiful 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring with only 36,000 miles on it:

How far along? 29 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: 24 lbs but I think that's mostly because of swelling in my legs
Maternity clothes? yeah I think I'm at the point of no return.
Stretch marks? nope
Sleep:  getting better except for having to pee and getting charlie horses in my calves. I also wake up really sore but I think I'm not fully relaxing when I sleep. I think my muscles are still tense and it's making me sore.
Best moment this week: Marrying the love of my life and buying my first car :)
Miss Anything? Having normal size legs
Movement: He loves to punch/kick the crap out of me! and he gets the hiccups a lot lately. It's so cute :)
Food cravings: nothing that bad this week other than on Wednesday I really wanted a club lulu from Jimmy Johns with cheese but without lettuce and tomato... and Ben got me a country club instead WITH lettuce and tomato... and then my pregnancy hormones kicked in and I cried like a baby for like 15 minutes while I proceeded to take off every little bit of shredded lettuce... I guess you shouldn't mess up a pregnant girl's meal??
Anything making you queasy or sick: meat!
Gender: Boy
Symptoms: Heartburn, random crying, REALLY swollen legs (we went to the women's hospital about this and need to see what my doctor says on Monday because the hospital said I was swollen more than I should be) and trouble breathing in certain positions.
Labor Signs: Nope
Middle Name decided? Noah
Belly Button in or out? in
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy :)
Looking forward to: getting my wedding ring tomorrow and spending some time with my HUSBAND! Ah, it still feels so weird to say :)

and here is this week's belly photo!
